Hello I am using the Calendar Entry's TimeZone property to identify the timezone of a google calendar and the information is being used for certain business logic. I used to get only values like "America/ Chicago" or "America/NewYork" for CST & EST respectively. But recently I have started seeing "US/Central" and "US/Eastern" as values for CalendarEntry's TimeZone property.
Can someone provide information on this issue? Is this causing due to Google's any new enhancements? Or is this just because those calendars are set up differently? If so, what needs to change to get everything on one format? This has started affecting our application and business, so any help would be appreciated.
