Hello, I am having great difficulty in understanding how OAuth works. All I want to do is read in selected calendars and then read in the events from those calendars. Do I really need to authenticate to do that? How would I go about doing that? I've been pouring over the documentation Google provides and it has been leading me in confusing circles for quite some time. Is there some way for the gadget to just ask the user on startup if they want to allow the gadget to access their information and then not worry about it from there on out? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
