Hi All, I am Sunil, at the outset of this email I must say thanks to you all for being member of such an outstanding service.
I am a web application developer like you all, I have a requirement in my application to make use of 3D pie charts and for the same I found that http://code.google.com/apis/chart/ services are ultimate answer to all my requirements. However before I start making use of this service in enterprise application, I wanted to be sure regarding downtime of this service. My queries are: 1) Should I expect a downtime/non-availability of this service because of any Technical reasons? 2) Should I expect a downtime/non-availability of this service because of any non-Technical reasons (You can assume that I am a bonafide user)? 3) Has there been any instance reported in the past for non- availability of this service? 4) With all respect to Google's impeccable expertise and their modus- operandi What if I say there is some risk involved in being dependent on Google link because services might not be available 24*7, am I mistaken there if I say so? Please provide your inputs regarding downtime so that I can address my apprehensions based on your inputs and decide accordingly if I should use these services. I hope you all understand that these are generic decision making queries and should not be taken as offensive in nature.
