I started using the Google Chart API a few weeks ago and love the simplicity of it and have been able to rapidly throw some charts together that would have been much more work any other way. I am having a problem with the behavior of the priority field for shape markers (http://code.google.com/apis/chart/styles.html#shape_markers)
Per the documentation the priority can be -1, 0, or 1 where the larger the number the later the marker is drawn allowing one to keep certain markers on top. This isn't working for me as expected though. For example, as I understand it this URL should result in the text marker "5" being drawn last and thus on top of the green dot in the upper middle of the chart, but it isn't. http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chs=800x375&cht=lc&chls=0,1,0&chd=t:-1,92,72|85,87,87&chm=o,00FF00,0,01,36,0|t5,0000FF,1,01,15,1|o,00FF00,0,02,14,0|t4,0000FF,1,02,15,1 Specifically, the "chm=o,00FF00,0,01,36,0|t5,0000FF" has 0 as the 6th parameter for the "o" marker and 1 as the 6th parameter for the "t5" marker, so the "5" should be drawn last and on top of the green dot. But this doesn't happen as you can see. If I change the 0 to -1 for the "o" marker then the 5 is drawn on top, but this causes other effects I don't want. Is this a bug in the API or am I doing something wrong? Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Chart API" group.
