Here's a relatively simple concentric pie chart that depicts, in the inner circle, railcars in a yard grouped by the type of track the cars are on. In the outer circle, the larger purple portion is the sum of the inner circle and depicts the current active inventory at the yard. Finally, the smaller gray segment shows that 92 cars are enroute to the yard from other locations.
All pretty simple but I'd rather not use the regular chart labels for the outer pie or, at least, have a way of distinguishing those labels from the inner pie labels maybe by font or color. But I do not see any way to do that? Another thought I had was to add &chm=t92 Enroute,000000,1,0,5,1|t1835 Active,000000,1,1,5,1 to the chart in an attempt to give the outer circle Data Point Labels but this is not supported for pie charts. I thought that would, instead of the regular label, place some text inside the colored (purple and gray) portions of that chart. http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=pc&chs=700x350&chd=t:726,407,274,428,46,2046,194|92,1835&chtt=Yard+Summary+-+Active/Estimated&chts=000000,20&chds=0,4121,0,1927&chco=0000FF|007704|E05CE0|CC3333|FEFE00|000000|FFBBBB,808080|800080&chl=726%20Classification|407%20Receive/Depart|274%20Receive|428%20Depart|46%20Mechanical|2046%20Miscellaneous|194%20Industry|92%20Enroute|1835%20Active -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Chart API" group.
