I am trying to generate elevation / distance or elevation / time charts from GPS data.
However, the problem is that the samples in most GPS logs are not at a set time or set distance apart, so the graphs look wrong. Can anyone direct me to any info which may help? Can the graph API deal with this? Does anyone know of APIs that may be able to reformat the data? Note that the data will have come from a GPX or similar file, but the way it is stored in my application is not GPX, so I am not looking for code to perform this function on a GPX file.
