Hi, Chart API allows you to control position of ticks, the font size and the text. You can explicitly set the number of ticks and their text as you see fit. Google has also an Interactive Chart API (javascript based) that does much better job and scaling the axis according to the data - please try using that: http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/interactive_charts.html
