Hi, For your zero-line, you'll want to use a Range Marker: "chm=r,ff0000,0,0.49,0.51"
As to an "array populated script", are you referring to an interactive chart using the Google Visualization API? If so, both the image and dynamic line charts support negative numbers and they're pretty easy to configure.
