I have tried the php POST method example from the documentation on my local machine running xampp. I keep on getting fopen error unction.fopen]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! I have no idea how to fix this, I have put in the header part of the scipt as well but no luck. I am thinking this has something tod ow ith fopen even though I have looked at my php.ini file and everything related to thi is set to open. I am a newbie so my question is I haved heard that instead of using fopen CURL can be used can someone help me in gving an alternate way of creating the url in the google example which uses CURL.
