Here's a solution that may work for you...

Take a look at the Creating a Compound Chart section @ 
http://code.google.com/apis/chart/image/docs/gallery/compound_charts.html#creating_compound_chart

Using that as a base, you can create two additional data series (one for 
your high and low range values) and then use Line Fills to highlight the 
area in between the two. Here's an example: http://goo.gl/CeUHL
