Hi, The Map Chart in the Image API claims to support ISO 3166-2 level codes. However for UK codes at least, there seems to be some major issues with this which make the tool practically unusable. Examples I've found:
* Codes added in Jun 2010 don't work (GB-BDF, GB-CBF, GB-CHE, GB-CHW) but neither do their previous versions (GB-BDF, GB-CHS). So data for Cheshire and Bedfordshire cannot be plotted at all. * GB-IOS which was removed at the same time, does still work. * GB-LND seems to map to the entire Greater London area instead of the much smaller City of London. In addition, none of the other London borough codes seem to work. Since Greater London contains 15% of the population of the whole of England, grouping it as one isn't very useful. The Wikipedia page contains all the codes (http://en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ISO_3166-2:GB) - I'm not sure why they haven't all been translated onto this tool? I can see this isn't the first time this issue has been brought up on this forum. Anybody from Google want to comment?
