Hi Mike, It looks like the default orientation of the Y-Axis title is vertical for bar charts. See the sample in the playground here: http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/?type=visualization#bar_chart
Could you provide some example code where you're running into this problem? Something small on jsfiddle.net would be great. Also, what browser are you using?
