I work as an analyst, not a developer or systems guy, so this is all fairly 
new to me.  However the goal is to visualize the data that is in 
elasticsearch through charts and graphs.  I'm attempting to learn all of 
this now in a condensed period of time with relatively no prior experience, 
which is why I'm asking the experts! :)
