Toby, A generalized paging control is an interesting idea that we will have to consider. The currently supported paging controls for the table chart are not implemented in a way that could be easily generalized, such that you could simply add a paging control to a dashboard, but that would be a good direction to go in.
I haven't seen any implementation of paging controls outside of google charts, but that could also be done, with a fair amount of work.
