OK, I understand the scalability reasons. The problem is you can't have access to all the data, only a partial content, with no other option using this tool (except direct link as you suggest, but it's not the same...). This is a usability issue. Is putting "view next XX directories" within the "Partial list ..." message be an option ? User would be able to locally navigate on the directory.
