Because Google Code takes a stand against the proliferation of "small" open source licenses, which cause massive confusion and headaches in the open source world (ever tried to link together modules under 5 different licenses? Unless you consulted an IP lawyer, you probably got it wrong). > Can it be added? Probably not, unless you can demonstrate that it is significant in the open source world at the same level as the GPL, BSD or Apache2 license. The license also has to be accepted by the OSI as an open source license, but that's already the case for QPL. > Can I host libcwd on Google Code anyway? Not unless you relicense your code under one of the licenses available on Google Code. Hosting code under a different license than the one announced in the project is grounds for project deletion. Sorry, this is probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but we do really strongly believe in slowing the proliferation of small-time licenses. - Dave --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hosting at Google Code" group.
