After making a stable branch, the changes (a lot of deleting and cleaning
up) were accidentally committed to the default branch. Progress has
occurred along the way, and now the stable branch always wants to be merged
with the default. We tried reverting back to before the commit, but without
some sort of strip command, it seems impossible to undo the damage. What is
the correct way on google code to sort out a situation like this?
