Hi google code team, This is with regards to the dbdeploy application that is currently hosted on google code and which it has last release (ver 3.0M3) on 3/16/2010:
https://code.google.com/p/dbdeploy/ I wanted to contribute a couple enhancements to the project via their github pull request. Looks like they were syncing github to the svn repo on google code: https://code.google.com/p/dbdeploy/source/list https://github.com/tackley/dbdeploy/pull/11 - my pull request 1 https://github.com/tackley/dbdeploy/pull/12 - my pull request 2 I have not heard back on the pull requests from Graham who is listed as one of the three project leads: https://code.google.com/p/dbdeploy/people/list I then sent the three project leads (also CCed on this email) an email of my contribution and offer to help last week. Please see email chain below. And I have not received any responses as yet. I posted a similar message asking about the status of the project on the project's user mailing list: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/db-deploy-users But it appears that the group may be moderated since my post hasn't shown up yet. So, all in all it appears that the project may be dead in the water at this time. I would like to help move it forward with not only my contributions but also other contributions (see the list of github pull requests going back couple years - https://github.com/tackley/dbdeploy/pull). Can you help. Would it be possible to transfer ownership of the project to me. I see the project is LGPL. Wanted to make sure you guys were in the loop as well. Would appreciate hearing from any of you on this subject. --------------- Hi Graham, Thank you for the awesome dbdeploy tool. We are using it actively with great success on our team here at Wells Fargo. We are running into some use cases that are currently not supported in the 3.0M version of dbdeploy. I created googlecode issue #81 ( *http://code.google.com/p/dbdeploy/issues/detail?id=81* <http://code.google.com/p/dbdeploy/issues/detail?id=81>) for one such use case. I’ve also submitted a pull request on github that should resolve this issue: *https://github.com/tackley/dbdeploy/pull/9* <https://github.com/tackley/dbdeploy/pull/9> I see there are other pull requests that have been pending for a while (some going back a couple years). I would like to offer to help you and the dbdeploy team maintain this project including pull requests and suggested feature additions. Let me know what you think.
