Hi, I know this question might be redundant but would like to get interested parties viewpoints. The languages accepted are C++, Java, Python, Ruby,Perl and many other languages. But my problem is that I have knowledge of all of these. C++ I use at work, Java I used in college extensively and love the eclipse environment, Ruby and Python are kinky languages that have build in features for many things like regex, i/o functions.
So for folks who are comfortable with multiple languages what are you choosing and why? I want to consider these things. 1. Easy to program - Language features like regex and i/o. 2. Easy to debug - IDE environment availability. 3. Easy to code - This is a competition and the faster you code the better points you might get. 4. Performance - I'll give list last priority as from my reading I understand accuracy is important but not performance. Let me know your thoughts.
