In 2008 someone asked if sources could be submitted as .tar.gz files. The answer at the time was zip only<http://groups.google.com/group/google-code/browse_thread/thread/d13febe8b36b3d1c/005d1940b1a01276?lnk=gst&q=zip#005d1940b1a01276>. Is that still the case?
