Bjarne Stroustrup Book: The C++ Programming Language 3rd Edition. Search for that book, it helped me a lot. Also, there are some good video tutorials on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/outofmylaboratory?feature=watch - this guy has lots of useful STL information too, I believe on his channel.
