Hi, I wrote an activex which is embedded in my google gadget, the main function of this activex is to play live TV from tuner card. I met a problem, that I cannot put my TV video on the "correct" position, but it is seperated from my gadget UI, this is because I don't know the gadget's current position.
I've tried to call "WindowFromDC", trying to get hwnd from the DC, but return hwnd is null...:( also tried to get IOleClientSite --> IServiceProvider --> IWebBrower2->get_HWND, but IWebBrowser2 is not available (or not implemented.) Because google gadget only support "windowless" activex, so I cannot successfully embed my TV video into my gadget UI, does anyone know how to solve it? I believe there should be a solution, because media player works so fine!! It also show video window in the gadget right? Any suggestion is appreciated.
