I've got an iGoogle gadget created here:
http://kexp-developing-gadget.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/kexp_rss_gadget.xml
and now I'm trying to get it to work for the Desktop.

When I add it, as is, to the Desktop there are no vertical scrollbars
(but they are needed). I'm wondering if there is any way to use
conditional code so that I can use the API for Desktop gadgets without
it affecting the gadget on iGoogle?

Also, this gadget relies entirely on the user having an internet
connection. Is that something that is frowned on in Desktop Gadgets?
Is there a way to test if the gadget is being used in iGoogle or
Desktop so that I can let the user know they must be connected to the
internet to use the gadget in Desktop?

Thanks.
