Mail sended on private mail of Srinivas - copy for Google Forum... FOR OTHER DEVELOPERS: PLEASE READ THESE LINES... IS SOMEBODY HERE WHO HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH LATEST VERSION OF GOOGLE DESKTOP NOW? CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME ADVICES FOR CORRECTION?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Srinivas Sorry for bad links in previous mail... Try these urls please... http://www.mikesoft.cz/602/GadgetTest_CZ.zip http://www.mikesoft.cz/602/GadgetTest_EN.zip Them contain gadgets, dll and exe file (programmed for multi installation of gadgets to Google Desktop)... It was ok with previous version Google Desktop. Now it usable for first gadget only (in new version GD)... Something in start process of google desktop is else and three gadgets from fours are not installed now. For install my gadgets please run RegisterGG.exe in previous version of Google Desktop and look as them working. Almost from features in this gadgets are not ok in the latest version Google Desktop.... I am very shocked by new version of Google Desktop - because it happened one or two weeks before releasing gadgets to users in Czech Republic and US. Gadgets are "nervous" in their heights, highlighting with mouseover is bad, gadgets sometines restarts and Google Desktop is very often blocked after it. It is not problem in previous version GD of course. Create file "gadget.tst" on your local c:\ and logs from each of my gadget will created (number in filename is process id... In log you can analyse more things from JScript part and DLL - because inside gadgets is my own library programmed for obtaining data from www server and starting browser dialogs - look for it in main settings of each of gadget (settings are the same)... Settings dialog is executed from dll too. If you will see some stupid things from in JScript code, please comment me it. It is my first job with developing gadgets and I want to do it better of course. Try my gadgets in previous Google Desktop and then in latest version, please... I have one question for the end - how can I attach some debugger to linked dlls in temp directory - when the libraries are indexed with number? I need debug my dlls in runtime direct in GD... I do not know how... I have external test application, but it is not good solution... Thank you very much for advices... With regards Milan P.S.: Sorry for my poor english... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Desktop Developer Group" group.
