I am writing a call center application. Due to the nature of the environment, we would not want individual users to have complete control over their sidebar. However, I would like to provide several of the existing gadgets as well as some custom gadgets that would interact with our application. Existing gadgets might include clock, weather, chat and notes. New gadgets might include incoming call indications, stock warnings, etc.
Are there any options for group configuration of the sidebar? If not, could I write an application that would configure the sidebar programmatically? Can we lock the sidebar to prevent users from accidentally moving or removing an important gadget? If none of these are possible, has anyone embedded the sidebar in a desktop application? Can it be done? Thanks in advance, Nathan ----------------------------------------- I'm Teo, i have manually pasted this message, there seems to be a problem with the group management system. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Desktop Developer Group" group.
