I know that Google Desktop doesn't support this right now, but it's needed and convenient for developers, isn't it? Will this be supported in the future?
And since it's not supported by Google now, did anybody do it himselt? Maybe designing a update button to check if there's a newer version, or use a function to make the gadget itself alerts whenever there's a update of the gadget. Can someone share how he does?
