As Stefan said you should really host both your thumbnail and screenshot on a website (e.g. photobucket). The screenshot listed points to a fairly large image. Try using the jpg file format to compress the images.
The Google Code hosting is dedicated for Open Source software and gadgets. So if you want to host your gadget there you would also have to make the gadgets source code available under one of the Open Source licenses.
