Hi, I have recently installed google desktop and begun working on a gadget. I am working on a Windows Vista machine. However, when I got on today (no idea what changed), my ".gmanifest file" is displaying the generic file icon in windows explorer, and when I double click, it is asking me what program to use to open this file.
Somehow my installation of google desktop is corrupted and the file association is hijacked. I can work on my gadget in the ide provided with the sdk, but its extraordinarily frustrating that I cannot load it into the actual application. I have tried rerunning the installer. I have tried uninstalling google desktop, rebooting, and then rerunning the google desktop installer. All to no avail. Any help greatly appreciated --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Desktop Developer Group" group.
