Hi, I was attempting to perform a query on Google Desktop using the GoogleDesktopRegistrar class. While invoking the StartComponentRegistration method to get a cookie, I get the following error. "Your administrative policy does not allow to install any Google desktop plug-ins".
I did some search and Google help says to check the following registry keys "maximum_allowed_version" and "minimum_allowed_version" under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Google Desktop. I do not have both the keys in my registry so I assume that no restrictions should be present to call this method. But unfortunately, it is still failing.
