Hi, I know most users want this also (and also in the Google Desktop Group).
There is a iGoogle Gadget for display and edit you tasks. http://mail.google.com/mail/help/tasks/ Note: You can add a iGoogle Gadget to you sidebar. By just paste the url of that igoogle gadget (that end with .xml) on the search box of the add gadget panel.
