Hi, I want to add a "+Google" button to our website to link to a new gadget that we will be hosting for our customers, but I have a slight problem. Our site is SSL secure, so to avoid getting the Mixed Content pop-up, especially in IE, we need to use a secure image link.
I tried using "https://gmodules.com/ig/images/plus_google.gif," since it appeared this might be a possible solution. However, all of our different browsers (IE6, IE7, Firefox 2 and Firefox 3) complained about domain name mismatches in the security certificates. The image is hosted on gmodules.com, but the certificate presented is for google.com. These pop-ups are not an ideal presentation to our users, either. Does anyone have any ideas on how we might solve this issue? Does Google have any other secure image options? Thanks in advance! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
