Hi Shiljo, No, I don't think you can expect to work with the Google Gadget Editor to develop a app for MySpace. The main issue is that the GGE is using the Legacy Google Gadget API. MySpace implements OpenSocial and the Gadget APIs.
I have been fairly successful using the Orkut Sandbox as the development/test platform for MySpace Apps. Some "porting" will be required, as MySpace does not fully implement the OpenSocial and Gadget APIs (for instance, image caching was still not working as of a month ago and is still probably still not there). If you want to follow this route, I would suggest you head to the Orkut Developer Forum: http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial-orkut The home/welcome page is full of useful links. Another platform you could use for your development is the iGoogle sandbox, as this test environment implements the new Gadget API. But I find being on Orkut more to my linking, as you will most likely want to use some of the OpenSocial great features when you start playing with the APIs. Have fun developing your apps!
