I use both iGoogle and Netvibes to get the information I need everyday. Lately, Netvibes has been surpassing iGoogle in so many ways and they didn't have to do anything.
Removing the top tabs & taking up valuable screen real estate in iGoogle is, in my opinion, a bad design move. It's commendable that the side tabs changed to a single click to that tabs content (assuming the side tabs are open all the time) but, with every other user interface using tabs at the top, changing to a 'new' way of doing things is like moving the gas peddle to the left of the break peddle. It would be nice to get back to the iGoogle that works. Just give us the ability to switch back the the old iGoogle please...
