FWIW, I'm running into the exact same problem with my 1st attempt at a gadget using the a url content type. If you View the URL of the Frame in iGoogle for your meditation quote gadget, you'll see there's a querystring keypair for "parent" that seems to cause the problem when served up by the web server. Take it out of the URL to the Frame and the page loads correctly. I'm not sure how to fix the problem though :-(
