Are there additional requirements that might have been forgotten in order to have someone displayed in the list of friends? I have followed Dan's advice [1] and - registered an additional user - added user A to user B's list of friends and vice versa In order to test the "relationship", I set the photo of the test user to the opensocial logo and checked whether it is correctly displayed in the other user's contact list. Everything runs from the sandbox. The problem is that the friends list in the opensocial example application [2] does not display any friends in the sandbox. I have added results of the different steps separately, but not even the simplest friends list [3] shows any results. I have also tried the version adapted for appengine and opensocial 0.8 [4]. There are several posts on this subjects that hint that there might be a problem with the "friends" application, but I could not find any 'success' message related to showing friends. Because it might be very simple, what are the recommended approaches? Is it necessary to setup a public profile or do anything similar?
