it's generally better to make the gadget itself dynamic using
<UserPref>s (aka url parameters)
   than to dynamically generate the gadget.  That said, both are
supported.

when appending parameters, you must be careful to escape the URL
including the "?"

if you have a specific example, post it here and let's try it.  If the
URL is pre-release,
   feel free to email it to me.
