Hi there, I have received the email from Google that your googlepages service is shutting down, thus had to submit alias for my gadget xml (to my own server). I did this correctly via your spreadsheets form, and already received info that in one week changes will take effect.
But you forgot one important thing! Many users like me, who had gadget hosted on googlepages, had their gadget screenshots/thumbnails as well hosted there! I can easily put those screenshots in the same folder on my own server, but the problem is there is no ALIAS request for those screeenshots of the gadgets!! I have checked your gadget directory, and see that loads of gadgets (including mine) have their screenshot directly pulled from googlepages (not hosted by google gadgets dir..) you might want to fix this, and as well notify me and other webmasters to submit alias for screenshots! thnks please reply ASAP as the service is shutting down in few days (googlepages), or prolong the shut down --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iGoogle Developer Forum" group.
