Hey guys, I don't think we will be able to provide much help about the ad unit not getting activated. As you can see, there are many gadgets for iGoogle which have AdSense built in, and the ad is displaying properly, so as long as your content is in compliance with the policies, this should work fine. So far, we haven't seen any AdSense support participating in this group. You will have better chances to get some answers by either posting in the AdSense support group, or better, by contacting AdSense customer support directly.
Once you have some clarifications from AdSense, it would be great if you could post the information they provided here, for future readers to see.
