I can not use the Gadget Editor either when logged into my Gmail account. My originally working Google Gadget Nahuatl Word of the Day has began displaying similar errors as you describe when I attempt to view/test its XML content/structure with WebKit based browser Epiphany<http://projects.gnome.org/epiphany/>.
