Hello,

I created project google-apis-mavenized (
http://code.google.com/p/google-apis-mavenized
) which makes it easier for Maven developers to hack the code of
various Google apis. Currently, GData APIs are "mavenized" there.
It is some sort of a "wrapper" project - it links to the original
codebase using Subversion Externals, so most commits there will be
immediately effective in this wrapper project.
I did this as part of my maven explorations, so the wrapped project
structure tries to use as many Maven good practices as possible - that
is, dependency granularity, somewhat verbose directory layout, storing
dependency declarations rather than binaries etc.
I "mavenized" all apis from gdata-1.0.9 including some samples.

This project may become unnecessary if Google developers decide to
convert the original project to Maven - however, before that happens,
I hope this will be helpful.

Comments, contributions and ideas are welcome.
