I just dowloaded Picasa 3 for Linux on an clean Ubuntu 8.04. at work, behind a Proxy The Ubuntu has a "Mandatory proxy" config feature which works well for other applications (apt-get, wget etc ) but that does appear to be recognised.
I checked the options in Picasa, and was unable to find where to manually configure the proxy settings. I can't tell Picasa the URL and port of my proxy... I have only the authentication part of the proxy and a "automatically detect network settings" that does not seem to work. BTW the "log" file for the network log is greyed and set to C: \Documents and settings\secadm\Local settings..... difficult to find on a Linux system... Good job anyway... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
