Hi,

After reading 'Other Editing Tools: Original photo quality when
saving' in the help, I've got a question about saving changes and
image quality.

If I edit a JPEG, and save it, Picasa saves a new JPEG which will have
slightly lower quality then the origianl JPEG, but the original is
untouched. If I then edit the image again, which file is loaded? The
original or the previously most recently saved?

I'm imagining / hoping that when an image is edited, the specifics of
the edit are stored somewhere (filter type, rate, location). When the
image is edited a second time, the original is opened, previously
applied edits are reapplied and then the image made available for me
to modify further. Saving then overwrites the last Picasa modified
file.

Cheers!
