Maybe there would be more adoption of Picasa among Linux users is Google (a) publicized it better and (b) supported it better.
Having said that, it would REALLY SUCK if Google stopped supporting Picasa on Linux. It is, hands down, both the single best application I use on Linux and the single best photo-management software I've used on any platform.
