I loved the look of Picasa on Fedora but I've hit a major problem.

Whereas some people are having problems with duplicate folders, I am
having problems where Picasa is making many duplicate photos.
>From going into my file browser and comparing the duplicates, it
appears Picasa has made them with different case to the originals.
For example the original 'surf.jpg' now has a 'SURF.JPG' duplicate.
Similarly 'img_3004.jpg' and 'IMG_3004.JPG'.

The other thing I notice is when looking at the modified date of the
photos, the times are 5 hours apart, the lower case being at the time
the photo was taken, the upper case being 5 hours later.

If someone can put some light on the problem that would be a huge help
to me, as at the moment the problem is too crippling for me to be able
to use Picasa!
