I don't doubt it ... for the Google-dedicated version of PIcasa, there is a "wrapper" script file that executes a number of checks of the system, then launches the Picasa binary via WINE. On my openSUSE 11.2 64bit system, it's located at: /opt/google/picasa/3.0/bin[/picasa] It does make a check (require) for 32bit SSL libs - Picasa needs these for "Internet" features.
