Looked at the title & screenshot ... not downloaded the code.
Not sure what this does/provides. Is there a problem with Picasa &
your RAW format?
I have a Pentax K-m (aka K2000)  which produces .DNG files (Adobe
Digital Negative) these display
fine in Picasa 3.6  ... in fact they usually look better than
the .jpegs (from the camera) as, I guess, Picasa is
doing the image processing and has a little more horsepower .
