If you are seeing photos that are .raw in picasa it is because your format of raw *is* supported. What is happening is that picasa is applying it's own white balance algorithym to the photos instead of what was set in the camera. Picasa does not support WB Changes for Raw files in the same manner Photoshop or Lightroom do. I suggest shooting in JPG and using picasa or shooting in raw and using Darkroom (an Ubuntu Program) to edit the files, export as JPG, and import into Picasa.
