There is no such thing as a "C drive" (etc)
on Unix-like operating systems.

Check to see if the filename ".firstrun" exists in the
subdirectory path: "/home/username/.google/picasa/3.0/
... or better yet, you might just want to post back the
contents of that subdirectory. You'll need to do, at
least, and "ls -a" to ensure you can see the dot files.
