May I add a thing that I do NOT understand...
I've had the priviledge of running Picasa now and then under an
otherwise fully functional and sound Windows XP with lots of memory
and all.
I usually run Picasa under openSuSE11.3 (and many others).
I've noticed that several operations in Picasa runs SIGNIFICANTLY
faster under wine/linux that does the native Win thing.
In particular printing IS a lot faster as is normal editing/retouching
operations.
I just don't get it...but I'm happy with it :-)
