I have been attempting to print but find that print quality is wishy
washy. Comparing print quality when printing from my photos in
Windows XP and via Picasa for Linux there is no comparison.
The accuracy of colour printing from XP is far better and the print
does not display bands of print that Picasa does.

I also am unable to select paper quality in Picasa although the best
print setting is available in both Windows & Linux.

As far as I can see I am not able to obtain the benefits of a Epson
Stylus Photo R265 using Picasa.

Can someone offer guidance on how I may achieve equality of quality.
I want to use Google for preference but not at the loss of print
quality.
